i don't know if i should be happy about this or not, but i've agreed to present a lesson at the OMA workshop in june centered around the rEVOLUTION video. i'm not sure what it is i'm supposed to be teaching.

meanwhile, i continue to wrestle with ideas about art and identity, and now because of this workshop i have something new to think about- education and societal reconstruction. i don't know what it all means. i just know i've got a bunch of new synapses forming.

with regard to the whole art vs. entertainment/identity train of thought- it occurred to me that maybe art is determined by who you do the piece for, whether you're deliberately trying to appeal to as wide an audience as possible or just following your own muse regardless of what others may think.
