The generation gap

At this point, the Noodly Appendage video has garnered over 850 views. What's remarkable to me is that about 750 of those occurred in a two hour period immediately following Dan Brown's tweet. Looking at his video response page, I'd say the average age of his audience is 15-16. Now, Dan tweeted at about 2:30 in the afternoon (his time) when most kids would be in school. Yet, almost instantaneously, a small army of teens viewed my video as an immediate result of Dan's recommendation. What does this mean to anyone over 30?

Never underestimate the power of a group of bored teenagers with powerful technology in their pockets to get stuff done (other than classwork).
