I set out to write a satirical song about what's going on in Arizona right now. I was toying with the idea of calling it "Immigrants and Homos", but there's so much going on in Arizona right now. I'm not sure I can limit myself to the current anti-immigrant bill and the on-going persecution of non-heterosexuals. There's the fact that we can now carry concealed weapons without a permit and the reality that education funding is about to go from a whopping $244 per student per day to an abysmal $25 per student per day.

I might as well write silly songs about it. Otherwise I'll just have to weep.
